Underwriting Manager – Honolulu, HI An excellent opportunity exists to join our progressive Pricing team! Lead pricing strategies, manage daily workflow, and guide our dedicated Underwriter team! Help institute the latest innovations in health care underwriting here in Paradise! Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics, as well as a minimum of 5 years of data analysis, collections, planning and system design experience, 1 year of pricing or underwriting experience in a health insurance setting, and 1 year of supervisory or project management experience. Knowledge of HMOs and related information systems is required, as is proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. Additional preferred qualifications include 7 years of progressive rating, underwriting, marketplace evaluations and/or financial analysis experience in a managed-care environment, or 8 years of quantitative analysis experience. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics is also preferred.
